Summer

This summer has been very busy. Between the summer classes I am taking and spending time with my grandkids, it seems to be flying by. I have never spent so much time in front of the computer as I have this summer, but I am learning to navigate my way through, with the help of my friend Lori. I just finished the class Teaching in the Middle School. Although I have taught 5th grade for six years now, I found that there is a lot about the preadolescent that I did not already know. My hope is to take everything I have learned and will learn this summer and apply it in my classroom to become a more effective teacher.

I really enjoyed the middle school course. It helped me relate to my kids at home because I don't want to teach them. lol

I loved the middle school class. I am secondary certified and I learned a lot about the 8th grade kids I teach.

i think it will pay off...the time you put in, as little as you think it is... i think it will be enough.

All this technology is going to help you keep up with those 5th grades that are on face book and blogging.
