Power of PRAYER

In the last blog I told you about the twins and the difficulties Jared will likely face. Well, through the power for prayer all things are possible. When they did the brain scans on the babies this week Jared's scan came back NORMAL. The Doctor can't figure it out. I can PRAYER, PRAYER, PRAYER!!!!!!!

Spinning Wheels

This summer has been very busy with me starting the ASTL program and other things going on. My friend just had twin grandsons on July 2, they were born two months early and are in Baptist Hospital and will be for many weeks to come. One twin is doing well, he is off of everything except a feeding tube and will get to come home in a few weeks. The other however, has had some difficulties and will have some type of disablity due to the lack of blood flow to his brain(Mom developed TTTS, twin to twin transfussion syndorm). When I am at home I spend almost all my time in front of my computer (which is very difficult when Kade my 2 1/2 year old grandson is here). I feel that I so much to do and so little time to get it done. I don't even know where to start. I feel that sometimes I just spin my wheels not getting anything accomplished.

Summer

This summer has been very busy. Between the summer classes I am taking and spending time with my grandkids, it seems to be flying by. I have never spent so much time in front of the computer as I have this summer, but I am learning to navigate my way through, with the help of my friend Lori. I just finished the class Teaching in the Middle School. Although I have taught 5th grade for six years now, I found that there is a lot about the preadolescent that I did not already know. My hope is to take everything I have learned and will learn this summer and apply it in my classroom to become a more effective teacher.

New Horizons

This summer has been an eye opening experience for me, starting back to school after 20 years.
