This summer has been an eye opening experience for me, starting back to school after 20 years.

I hope that you enjoy your ASTL experience. If I can do anything to make your time more enjoyable and to ensure that your learning experiences abound, then please let me know.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one back in school after more than a few years!

It's been twelve years for me (graduated in 1996 from UAM), but I'm really enjoying it so far. I think my brain has bounced back from the "Barney" stage (thank goodness my son is out of that) and is now more alert!

Hey that's awesome! You will love ASTL. Especially Dr. Hebert, she is the best! I promise I'm not trying to score points, she really is great.

Hey Jamie,
Iknow exactly how you feel, as when I started I was close to being 20 years since I was in school. I think though that going back to school will be very invigorating for you and will definitely show up in your teaching methods. Good luck!

I hope you are enjoying your return to school. I know it must have been a little scary coming back after 20 years but it is very admirable of you to do so!

It is sometimes hard to get the spiderwebs out but it is worth it when you can look back and see what you have learned. It is also a great example to you kids both at home and school that we need to be lifelong learners.

I did not think that I would start back so soon. I have only been out of school for 2 1/2 years, but I am glad I did it.

I'm so glad I came back to get my Master's. I have grown so much as a teacher through this program
